Established in 1997, Centre for Women's Awareness and Development (CWAD), is a leading organization working for the protection and promotion of women and children's human rights in Nepal. Centre for Women's Awareness and Development (CWAD) and Public Defender Nepal(PDS) Nepal has jointly organized the Workshop on Access to Justice and Legal Aid Reform in Nepal from 13-15th September ,2018 by the support of Open Society Foundation at Park Village Resort Budhanilkantha.
The specific objectives of the National Workshop to develop a shared understanding about the Legal Aid Reform issues in Nepal and to learn about the comparative models about the different Legal Aid System of different countries. Similarly, this workshop will help in developing the draft position paper CSos on Legal Aid Policy Reformed in Nepal.
