8th Asia Pro Bono Conference was held in Kathmandu Nepal from 13th to 15th September 2019. There was an overwhelming number of participants with more than 800 participants from 30 different countries. Everyone was there to support probono and dedicated to making easy access to justice to poor, marginalized and disadvantaged groups. Being in the Local Organizing Committee, CWAD provided technical support to the regional committee by organizing various initial meetings with concerned stakeholders to achieve the goal of the conference. CWAD presented a paper on Paralegalism and Pro Bono in Nepal during the conference to shed a light upon the history of Paralegals in Nepal as well as their contribution in the community regarding access to justice to poor, marginalized and disadvantaged groups of Nepal.
