CWAD conducted review research on laws and police to identify gaps and challenges in the provision to make easy access to justice to poor, marginalized and disadvantages group of Nepal. CWAD continuously advocates for the amendments of discriminatory laws and policy with proper implementation of existing laws and policies. CWAD has advocate on several issues such as reform on the punishment and compensation of victim women of Acid attack, on the punishment and compensation for rape victim of girl child, old women and all kind of women, reform Legal Aid Policy and its proper implementation, Legal Aid Act, Civil Code, Criminal Code from gender perspective to remove the discriminatory provision and enactment of gender friendly laws, improving women’s access to justice and judicial system and status of women survivor and protection and promotion of their rights.
