AEIN’s Special Interaction Program with Bhaktapur Women Group

On 18th May 2025, the Women Empowered Entrepreneurs Organization successfully conducted a vibrant interaction program with the Bhaktapur Women Group at Suryabinayak Municipality, Ward No. 6. The event was graced by representatives from AEIN – Aide à l’Enfance de l’Inde et du Népal, who joined for a special visit and meaningful engagement.

The program featured a presentation of the group’s annual progress report, sharing of key achievements, and in-depth discussions on future plans and strategies. Women group members confidently led the presentations, demonstrating their growing leadership, confidence, and vision for driving social and economic change within their community.

The presence of the Ward Chairperson and ward representatives added significant value to the program, highlighting local government support for women’s empowerment initiatives.

A special cultural highlight was the serving of traditional Newari snacks, lovingly prepared and shared by the women group members themselves — a warm celebration of local culture and hospitality.
