Baseline Survey

The Baseline data collection was conducted on seven districts, namely Kanchanpur, Kailali, Dang, Kapilvastu, Rupandehi, Kathmandu and Kavrepalanchowk of three provinces namely, Sudur Paschim Province (SPP), Lumbini Province (LP) and Bagmati Province (BP) of Nepal. The total time taken for the baseline data collection started from 13th February 2023 till 27th February 2023.The methodology used during this survey were Focus Group Discussion (FGD), Key Informant Interview (KII) and Field Observation. During the survey, data collection of a total of fifteen FGD to a total number 149 WLO’s members.

Based on survey results, following measures should be conducted such as capacity building programs on disaster management in humanitarian settings from feminist perspective, feminist leadership, crisis management, safe referral mechanism,
and case documentation. Similarly, training or orientations regarding the basic skills and knowledge on preparedness, response, and post-disaster during the humanitarian crisis. As well as training and
orientations on psycho-social counseling.
