In coordination of CWAD, a Legal Aid Working Committee has been formed comprising the representatives from civil society organizations for policy advocacy on legal aid policy draft to ensure access to justice for all on 11th January 2019. CWAD was one of the members of the committee which provided technical support to organize the several discussion meeting to collect the recommendation and suggestion on Legal Aid Policy Draft, 2074. And participated on regular meetings, discussions and dialogues summoned by the committee. During the events, CWAD raised issue of Women, Paralegal, Transgender, Dalit, and Elderly Person with disability with recommendations to incorporate their recognition in the Legal Aid Policy Draft.
