Community-Based Voter Education Program Conducted in Dhangadhi–Ward 9, Kailali

n 16 Falgun 2082, CWAD, in collaboration with FWLD, conducted a Community-Based Voter Education Program at Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City–Ward 9, Kailali to promote inclusive and informed electoral participation.

The program engaged community members including individuals from marginalized communities, the Rana Tharu community, the Chaudhari community, and first-time voters. It covered voter rights and responsibilities, the importance of elections, ballot secrecy, the election code of conduct, correct voting procedures, and conditions affecting vote validity. A mock voting exercise was also conducted to provide practical understanding of the voting process.
