On 2nd and 3rd August 2024 (18th and 19th Shrawan 2080), CWAD organized a residential capacity enhancement program at Dhulikhel Lodge Resort. The event included CWAD board members, Advisory board members, staff, and representatives from WOREC, our Lead Partner Organization (LPO) for the SNEHA project.

 

The program focused on understanding humanitarian crises and addressing the needs of women and girls. We also discussed disaster risk reduction policies, mechanisms, committees, and networks. Ms. Krishna Karkee, DRRM expert, led sessions on Humanitarian Settings/System, GESI in DRRM, and Humanitarian Principles and Standards incorporating Sphere.
