This intensive training program centered on empowering women to step into leadership roles with confidence, equipping them with essential socioemotional and interpersonal skills. These skills are crucial for navigating the gender barriers prevalent within households and communities, as well as for effective engagement in local natural resource governance.
The primary aim of this training was to inspire women to become catalysts for change, enabling them to actively participate in decision-making processes. By nurturing effective leadership qualities, women were encouraged to represent the diverse needs and interests of their fellow women.Furthermore, they were encouraged to serve as exemplary role models and valuable resources within their communities, fostering a culture of empowerment and advancement for all women.
During the training, participants delved into discussions, role-plays, and activities designed to deepen their comprehension on Women’s Leadership and Empowerment.It also emphasized on active involvement, networking opportunities, and moments for introspection, the training aimed to foster an environment conducive to promoting inclusivity and equality across different domains.
