Day 3 Training of Trainers on Economic Empowerment  Focus on Business Planning and Action in Suryabinayak Municipality

 

On 12th February 2025, Day 3 of the Training of Trainers (TOT) on Economic Empowerment for the Women Empowered Entrepreneurs Organization in Suryabinayak Municipality, Ward No. 6, Bhaktapur took place at Bhaktapur Guest House, Chundevi. This session was supported by AEIN – Aide à l’Enfance de l’Inde et du Népal and continued to build the participants’ capacity to create and manage their own businesses.

The day began with Karuna, one of the participants, providing a recap of the previous day’s session, followed by Dr. Anita Shrestha, who encouraged participants to recall and reflect on the knowledge they had gained so far. Bishow Raj Karki then took over the session, focusing on the crucial aspects of business planning and action, as outlined in the program’s schedule. He emphasized the importance of understanding the business planning process and clarified the types of businesses participants could start, using practical knowledge based on the provided business planning format.

The session engaged participants actively, as they worked on creating their own business plans using the format provided. This exercise was designed to help them apply the skills and experiences they had gained throughout the program to develop viable and sustainable business ideas for their livelihoods. The session was an essential step towards empowering participants to take actionable steps towards entrepreneurship and economic independence
