Gender-based violence (GBV) remains highly prevalent in the country, despite a comprehensive legal framework that has driven progress on gender equality. The survivor-centered approach seeks to empower survivors by prioritizing her needs, rights and wishes.
The main objective of this training were to provide knowledge, and skills for the identification of the problems of survivors of gender-based violence and to provide information about appropriate referral channels. The training session was facilitated using various methodologies such as role-play, group discussion and presentation, PPT presentation, and brainstorming techniques. The training encouraged active participation, networking, and reflection, with the goal of promoting inclusivity and equality in various spheres.
