Goat Distribution Program in Kailali District – Empowering Women Through Livelihood Support

CWAD, with the financial support of AEIN – Aide à l’Enfance de l’Inde et du Népal, successfully organized a Goat Distribution Program for women group members in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City (Wards 8 & 9) and Godawari Municipality (Wards 7 & 8). In coordination with local partner DWRF Nepal and the presence of local ward representatives, a total of 19 goats were distributed to 12 women. This initiative aims to empower women from marginalized communities by enhancing their economic opportunities, promoting self-reliance, and supporting sustainable livelihoods. CWAD remains committed to continuing such impactful programs in the future.
