In the federal structure, the role of the paralegals is very important because they have been working as a medium between the victims in the community and the government justice delivery since time immemorial. In the wake of the situation, CWAD undertook several efforts to institutionalize the paralegal and their importance in Nepal. We also conducted a study about the role and responsibility of the paralegals in the society. In this regard, CWAD held a discussion and interaction meetings with concerned government agencies to internalize the needs of paralegal and recognize their role and service to ensure access to justice for society on 4th December, 2018.
