Meeting and Dialogue with Local Level Government at Mahalaxmi Municipality

CWAD conducted a One Day Program in coordination with the Judicial Committee of Mahalaxmi Municipality in the presence of local representatives, Municipal staffs, Mediation Committee Members, and Paralegals on Bhadra 10^th 2079 (26^th August 2022).

A total of 39 people participated among with 28 were female and 11 were male. Deputy Mayor Laxmi Maharjan, Tara Kumari KC from Senior Citizens, Women and Children Branch, Ward Chairpersons, Judicial Committee Members also attended the program.

Deputy Mayor of Mahalaxmi Municipality, Ms. Laxmi Maharjan expressed her gratitude to CWAD for organizing such an important and effective program. She further added that this program will help to aware the representatives as well as the municipal staff members. About the existing provision in our Constitution, National Laws, Policies and Provisions as well as on the international instruments. Moreover, committed that Mahalaxmi Municipality will always promote and encourage the women entrepreneurs and to enhance their economic justice.
