We are pleased to announce the successful completion of our Orientation Program on Gender Responsive Budgeting for local level budgeting. This important initiative, aimed at fostering inclusive budgeting practices, was made possible through the active participation and support of esteemed representatives and municipal staffs.

Attendees included the Deputy Mayor, Judicial Committee Members, Ward Chairs, Ward Representatives, Secretary, and Municipal Departmental Heads of Dhangadi Sub-Metropolitan City, alongside the Chief Administrative Officer, Judicial Committee Members, Ward Chairs, Ward Representatives, Secretary, and Municipal Departmental Heads of Godawari Municipality. Special thanks to the Dalit Women Rights Forum for their collaboration and commitment to this cause.

 

This program has empowered our local leaders with knowledge and tools to implement budgeting that responds to the needs of all community members. Together, we’re paving the way for equitable resource allocation and sustainable development.
