We’re thrilled to announce the successful completion of our program on Women’s Rights and Empowerment, conducted by CWAD in collaboration with the inspiring Women Group members of Ward 8 & 9 of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City! It was an empowering day filled with enriching discussions and insightful sessions, all aimed at promoting gender equality and legal awareness.
Our program delved deep into crucial topics, spearheaded by esteemed facilitators like Prof. Dr. Shashi Adhikary and Dr. Anita Shrestha. From exploring the significance of vital registration to addressing complex issues like marriage laws, polygamy, and child marriage, every session was a blend of brainstorming, discussions, and insightful presentations. The afternoon session shone a spotlight on gender equality, non-discrimination, and the essential GBV Elimination Fund.
Together, we concluded with a sense of purpose and determination to champion women’s rights. Huge thanks to all our dedicated participants and facilitators for making this day an unforgettable one!
