Proud to share the successful completion of a Public Awareness Program on Domestic Violence conducted by the Women Group Members (Weeo Empowerment) of Suryabinayak Municipality, Ward 6, Bhaktapur, as part of the 16 Days Campaign Against Gender-Based Violence! ✨
With the support of AEIN – Aide à l’Enfance de l’Inde et du Népal, CWAD has been implementing the “Ensuring Access to Justice for the Empowerment and Agency Building of Marginalized Communities” program, which focuses on enhancing the capacity and economic sustainability of Women Group members while ensuring access to justice and resources for marginalized communities.
This program brought together women from Pandubazar and Sundarbasti, Suryabinayak Municipality Ward 6, to raise awareness about domestic violence, its far-reaching impacts, and the support systems available to victims. Through interactive discussions, the program emphasized the importance of standing against domestic violence and encouraged women to seek help when needed
