Dr. Anita Shrestha is presently serving as a Chairperson at Centre for Women’s Awareness and Development (CWAD). A PhD awardee in Sociology with more than 25 years of experience in the field of Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI).
She is a self-motivated and well-organized person with strong interpersonal and campaigning skills in advocacy sector such as GESI research, planning and training at local to National level. In addition, having adequate knowledge, experience and a good leadership skill has helped her empower grassroots and marginalized girls and women. Similarly, has a sound understanding for facilitating, supporting and guiding strategy for; 1.Organizational development and management, 2.Program development and monitoring, and 3.Strengthening communication and fundraising.
Also a team player and an expert on need based planning; providing advise and inputs on strategic vision for Access to Justice and empowering marginalized women and children.
