The Centre for Women’s Awareness and Development (CWAD), in coordination with the Dalit Women’s Rights Forum Nepal (DWRF), and with financial support from AEIN – Aide à l’Enfance de l’Inde et du Népal, organized a refresher training on Women’s Economic Empowerment at Hotel Basera, Dhangadhi, Kailali.
The first day of the training brought together women’s group members from Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City Wards 7 and 8 and Godawari Municipality Wards 7 and 8. The training aims to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and business capacities of women who have received economic empowerment support and those planned to receive support in the upcoming phase.
The first day focused on SWOT Analysis, Business Management, and Marketing. Through interactive discussions and practical exercises, participants explored the strengths and weaknesses of their businesses, identified opportunities and challenges, and discussed practical approaches to business management and marketing.
The sessions were facilitated by Mr. Bishwo Raj Karki.
The training provided participants with an opportunity to reflect on their business experiences, identify areas for improvement, and strengthen their confidence and skills for sustainable business development.
CWAD continues to promote women’s economic empowerment through capacity development, entrepreneurship, and livelihood initiatives that support women to become more self-reliant and economically empowered.
