Community Based Voter Education Program- Godawari-7, Kailali

On 15 Falgun 2082, CWAD, in collaboration with FWLD, conducted a Community-Based Voter Education Program at Godawari Municipality–7, Kailali to promote inclusive and informed electoral participation.

The program engaged community members including individuals from marginalized communities, the Chaudhari community, Dalit women, senior citizens, and first-time voters. Key topics covered included voter rights and responsibilities, the importance of elections, ballot secrecy, the election code of conduct, rights of persons with special conditions, proper voting procedures, and circumstances affecting vote validity. A mock voting exercise was also conducted to provide practical experience.
