Community based Voter Education Program- Godawari-8, Kailali

On 15 Falgun 2082, CWAD, in coordination with FWLD, conducted a Voter Education Program at the Ward Office of Godawari-8, Kailali, ahead of the upcoming elections on Falgun 21, 2082.

The program engaged community members including individuals from marginalized communities, the Chaudhari community, Dalit women, senior citizens, and new voters. It covered the significance of elections, voters’ rights and duties, rights of persons with special conditions, ballot secrecy, election code of conduct, correct voting procedures, and conditions under which a vote can be invalidated. A practical demonstration of the voting process was also conducted
