Day 3 | From Practice to Application Refresher Training on Women’s Economic Empowerment at Bhaktapur Guest House, Bhaktapur

The final day of the Three-day Refresher Training on Women’s Economic Empowerment, organized by the Centre for Women’s Awareness and Development (CWAD) with financial support from AEIN – Aide à l’Enfance de l’Inde et du Népal, was successfully completed at Bhaktapur Guest House, Bhaktapur.

The training brought together members of the Women Empowered Entrepreneurs Organization (WEEO) to strengthen their business knowledge, practical skills, and capacity to manage their enterprises more effectively.

Key Sessions of Day 3

The final day focused on putting the knowledge and skills gained during the training into practice. Participants engaged in integrated accounting exercises and practiced maintaining financial records for group-based businesses, including recording income and expenses, tracking transactions, and understanding the financial position of their group enterprises.

Participants presented their work and received feedback on their practical exercises. The presentation and reflection sessions provided an opportunity for participants to identify areas for improvement and strengthen their understanding through peer learning.

As an encouragement for active participation, good performance, and teamwork, groups that demonstrated good understanding and performance during the practical exercise were recognized with small prizes.

Throughout the three-day training, participants explored SWOT Analysis, Business Management, Market and Marketing, Financial Management, Accounting, and practical business application. The sessions helped participants connect these concepts with their own businesses and group-based economic activities.

The training provided participants with practical skills to manage their businesses, maintain proper financial records, understand business performance, identify market opportunities, and apply their learning in their day-to-day business activities.

The three-day refresher training concluded with participants reflecting on the importance of continued learning, teamwork, and practical application of business and financial management skills.
