The final day of the Refresher Training on Women’s Economic Empowerment, organized by the Centre for Women’s Awareness and Development (CWAD) in coordination with the Dalit Women’s Rights Forum Nepal (DWRF) and with financial support from AEIN – Aide à l’Enfance de l’Inde et du Népal, was successfully completed at Hotel Basera, Dhangadhi, Kailali.

The final day focused on applying the knowledge and skills gained throughout the three-day training. The session began with practical accounting exercises, followed by participant presentations, feedback, and reflection. These activities provided participants with an opportunity to apply the financial management concepts discussed during the training to practical business situations.

Participants also discussed the importance, benefits, and challenges of group businesses. The discussion helped participants reflect on the value of collective efforts, cooperation, shared responsibilities, and effective coordination in strengthening sustainable group-based enterprises.

As part of the closing session, participants watched the movie “Three Monks,” which provided an engaging way to reflect on the importance of teamwork, cooperation, and collective responsibility. The movie also helped participants connect these lessons with the key messages and learnings from the three-day training.

The three-day refresher training provided women’s group members with practical knowledge and skills in business management, marketing, financial management, accounting, and group enterprise development. It also created a space for participants to share experiences, learn from one another, and identify ways to apply the knowledge gained to their existing and planned businesses.

The training concluded with reflections on the importance of continued learning, cooperation, and practical application of skills for strengthening women-led businesses and promoting sustainable economic empowerment.
