Strengthening Women-Led Enterprise: Heat Press Machine Support for Bhaktapur Clothing Group “Kalpanik”

On 15th May 2026, a Heat Press Machine was officially handed over to the Clothing Group of the Bhaktapur women group members in the presence of Roberto Baldanza, Program Manager of AEIN, and Ramesh Twayana, Nepal Representative of AEIN.

The support was provided in response to the request of the women entrepreneurs to help expand their growing clothing and printing business under their local brand “Kalpanik” (“Imagination”). Started through a collective investment by five dedicated women members, the initiative continues to grow as a sustainable women-led enterprise.

With the addition of the heat press machine, the group aims to improve product quality, increase production capacity, and create wider market opportunities, contributing to women’s economic empowerment and community-based sustainability.
