Three Day GEDSI Orientation Program Successfully Completed under Hamro Sahas Project

Feminist Dalit Organization (FEDO), Nepal, in coordination with CWAD, successfully conducted a three-day GEDSI (Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion) Orientation Program under the Hamro Sahas Project.

The program brought together board members and focal persons from local partner organizations across Arghakhanchi, Rupandehi, Kapilvastu, and Gulmi districts. It aimed to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and sensitivity of Women’s Rights Organizations (WROs) staff on GEDSI and LGBTIQA+ issues.

Over the course of three days, participants actively engaged in interactive discussions, group work, and learning exchanges focused on inclusive development approaches, practical application of GEDSI principles, and institutional strengthening.

The orientation encouraged participating organizations to adopt more inclusive and responsive practices. It also reinforced their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by promoting the integration of GEDSI and LGBTIQA+ perspectives into organizational policies, programs, and service delivery.
